how big to go in with a 16" silver aro?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I will wait until they are around 7"-8" mark. I had two 6" orinos that I thought were big enough to go into my 17"-18" Jardini tank, and they were torn apart in a couple of days. BTW I also had a 5" AT in with my Jardini at the time with no problem, that was why I attempted but they were murdered both at the same time....:(

Do you think that the result would have been different if the bass were 8"?

IMO with a silver, yes. A Jardini, no.

I think they should be ok with the silver Arowana as long as its not a Jardini. I have 5 5'' Orionos with my 22'' blue Arowana with no problems.
