How big was your dovii after the first year

mine grew to about 10 or 11 inches but i feel he would have grown a lot quicker if he wasnt the smallest fish in the tank. as soon as i removed the other ones he had a growth spurt. not to mention hes a real picky eater

About the same as jags, RD’s, & O’s I’ve had 10in maybe 11in tops. Growth seems to slow down big time at around 9-10 length wise anyway.

Gave my dovii to a friend who had a 300gal tank at about 12in. All I want to maintain is a 180 & thought it might be cruel to have that as a lifer.
