My new AFL is about 14" long and still has external gills. I assumed it was an eastern African lung when my wife brought it home but I'm wondering if it could be a gilled? Any thoughts or experiences? Thanks!
P.S. I'm kind of embarrassed about his tank... My wife surprised me with him for my birthday because I kept checking him out at our local fish store... I tossed him in this tank until I finish our great room and set up a 120 gallon tank for him.... hopefully I'll have a little more knowledge before then
