How big will Tems get and what life span

I have grew out several mono,s to ful size but hoping these Tems will get bigger...they have really slowed down after 2 years and they don't seem that big...How big have some of you grown years and how long have they lived...thanks in advance for your replies

I experienced that Tem is more aggressive & bigger eater than Mono. The grow rate is faster for Tem..imho.

tems are the biggest pbass. Over 3 feet, maybe 4. As with most cichlids, it can live 15+ years with good care and space

pictures of your mono and 2 year old tems? if they wont get any bigger maybe they are stunted

tems grow, yeah 3' + and can live up to 25 yrs i read...dunno if it's true!

3 feet plus.
maybe a bit less in captivity?
they are faster growers than monos.

Thanks for the responses I have them eating frozen shrimp, scallops, squid, and rarely live feeders...I may start buying live fathead feeders in bulk and freezing them to keep the paristies then thawing them for food

what size tank ??
what are the nitrate levels ??

Tank is a 300 gallon with a huge double wet dry and monster Ozone light that i cycle evry 12 hours never had any disease at all with this set up...Iam thinking about raising my temp its set around 83% and thinkng about different foods...I know only have the 2 tems in this tank so I have not worried about nitrates...I have only been doing water cahnges about every 3-4 weeks though...I Want these babies HUGE they are converted to non-live food and I hate to go back...
