How big will those get

Im thinking of getting a channa.
Parachanna Obscuba its for 20$
Channa Pulchra for 200$
How big will they get?
Witch should i get, it will be kept with
Polys, Fronts and other tanganiykas
or an anumphiuma Tridaculum.
Witch should i get and in witch tank should i put it in

HI Jakob,

obscura can get over 40cm in lenght, pulchra about 30cm.
I would take several obscuras, they fit better to the polypterus, pulchra need low temperatures, they are not tropical.

By the way 200 Bucks for on is pretty expensive, I payed 30 Euros

yep defo obscura , and put in with fonts and poly , only question what are the other tangs in there , make sure there big enough not to be eaten

iam not familiar with anumphiuma Tridaculum so would not like to comment on that one ,but maybe someone else would like to chip in . also what size tanks are they ?

pulchra get about a foot.
obscura 40 cm.
obscura is much more aggressive and both can eat things almost their own size.
i got my pulchra for around 5USD.
it did well in warm water.

The pulchra is really uncommon here in Icelanddo 200$ is not that expensive, here we have to pay 10$ for 1 guppy fish
Yeah and a Senegal bichir is priced for 40$
