How big does an Albino Channel Cat get, and what's the minimum size of tank I would need?

they get very big, easily 12-15" first year. i started mine in a 55gal and it lasted all of 6 mnths. max out around 30-45" and 40-60lbs. starters tanks for these fish is no such thing. they are fast gowing and at minimum get a 100 gal or better a 150 since they are wider. it would last for years

a 90 probably wont work then?

I don't think these fish are very good aquarium fish. A fish that reaches up to 50 lbs is highly unmanageable. I had one over a winter while I housed a friends pond fish. Went from 16" to 18" in a few months.

it all depends on how long your going to keep it in there. your probably looking to buy one thats 4-6", and just keep in mind i will go from that to 12-14" in the first ye ar. they are fast growing and eat anything

If you can get a large stock tank, like a 9' diameter one that would work. The stock tanks are cheap, like 200-300 bucks

Albinos get the exact same size as " normal " channels and should be treated them same way they can get 3' eazily and need a very large tank or pond a 90g would be good only as a grow out and it would only last around a year as they are fast growers
