how big will my tinfoil barb grow it is about 3" long now and i have had it 7months will it get alot bigger or not?

Tinfoil barbs can grow to about a foot long, so yours is just a baby

I have 5 that are 2 yrs old and ~12". I've seen them at a local zoo 14"+.

ya I would say 12"s for a while and then probly get bigger then that from my experience and from what i have seen...

As stated above, they get over a foot long, it takes a few years to reach that size. They live about 10 years or so. 3 or more is best as they prefer groups and can be annoying to other species if by themselves. Don't keep with very timid fish or fish that are very much smaller than they are.

7 months - he should be larger. How big is the tank?
