The creek in the front of my house as steelheads during the winter right but the water is to polutted how can i help out i put branchs in there and shelters how can i help out so i can fish for them easyer.

Gravel beds work great dump a bunch of river gravel and rock in the deep spots and silty areas clean out the silt and dirt and litter of any sort and add small rock walls to add current to creek.
Better check with you state fish and game department before adding /removing things from a stream. Might want to also check with local fishing clubs or Trout Unlimited groups. They most likely have done similar projects and could help you out.
But technically removing silt and adding stream bed for spawning will be helpful and not unhelpful.
