how can I convince my mom to get me a reptile?

i just brought it home, its a harmless turtle but it is still a reptile. She can't really do anything about it its outside and its not hurting anything. i wins.
Do us a favor and make sure you have her blessing. The majority of reptiles are a tremendous investment and will need your parents to accept them. I happen to be part of a very understanding family. So, most of my acquisitions were with little or no warning. However, once they were in the house, I was expected to care for them completely.
this is always true, if YOU are getting a reptile YOU have to take care of it. I understood this when i received my new turtle. Im going out thursday to get wood to make him an enclosure. Just make your mom understand that you want this and that you plan to keep it happy and healthy.
well instead of having her get it for you, you could buy it. that usually helps when they don't have to pay the initial cost
