I Recently Got 4 3-4in Bristlenose Plecos
I Would Like To Know How To Get Them To Eat.
I Read That Cucumber And Zucchini Works Well. I Went Out And Bought A Zucchini, I Washed It And Cut In In Half And Weighed It Down By Sticking A Fork In It.
I Left In The Tank Overnight And The Zucchini Looks
Untouched.
I Attempted To Try Algae Wafers But My Silver Dollars Always Take Them.

What Else Can I Try?
How Long Can I Leave The Zucchini In My Tank Without It Affecting My Water?
I Have A Total Of 4 Plecos And During The Day I Only See 2. How Should I Look For The Other 2?

Try the algae wafers at night to get around the SDs. Fresh veggies sometimes take time for the plecos to get used to.

It's common not to eat right away. They also get some nourishment from wood and algae.

You can try blanching the zucchini first too though.

One of mine will actually aggressively go after flake food and blood worms too, and compete with the other fish.

One of my BN plecos I got at about 1", he is full size now, super fat, and I have never seen him eat (I see the other eat all the time).

It can take several attempts before they realize it is food. You should be safe to leave it in the tank overnight. Although I would use a smaller amount than half a zucchini. I've also stuffed zucchini with algae wafers before to get some plecos started on veggies.

common for plecos to not eat right away. may take up to 3-5 days sometimes longer. Hikari sinking excel works great!
