So I've been dealing with my Oscar being alot more jumpy then usual.. Like this guy would jump for any little reason or movement over the tank....
Is there a way for me to get my Oscar too calm it down a bit...? Cause he's starting to hurt himself more and more every time he jumps..
I heard turning down the temperature a bit would help but I'm not too sure so I wanna run it by you guys first... Any solutions?

Please Help & Thank You!!

check for stray electrical current in tank.

Yes what petspoiler said. If you have a slight cut on you hand you may feel it. If your heater is foggy on the inside then that is where its coming from most likely and if that is the case then replace it

it;s not electrical..

I think it's trying to catch the water drops from the lid or whatever flies by. Oscars are like that. really cute.. If it's hurting itself, you should lower the water surface.

I miss them jumping oscars. They are so fun when little.. I really do miss the oscar

I didn't say there definitely is stray electric current, I said to CHECK for that.

owner says fish behavior is beyond his usual, & injuring himself.

What are your water parameters?

I think this would make sense, because I see alot of water drops hovering over my tank... Hmm... :\

so when it does that, feed it full.. Maybe that'll calm him for the while
