i have had my rays for 6 months now and at first they used to devour the prawns that i gave them now i feed them prawns and Pollock fillet to try and fatten them up a bit but they are just refusing to eat. they eat little buts and pieces but they arent being aggressive feeders like everyone says :/

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Get live worms. Earth worms, blackworms........ They're like crack to rays. I'd get em eating like pigs on this stuff and fatten em up. Then you can soak shrimp in the cut worms and get them to eat more that way. You're lucky they even take shrimp at all. I can't get mine interested.

he is right about the worms. Live black worms (some good aquarium stores) and sometime night crawlers from walmart or any bait store work...
Mine also love live ghost shrimp. Make sure you feed them from time to time live food. otherwise they can get lazy and not want to eat. Live food life ghost shrimp are good bacuse they have to work at it, its the thrill of the hunt...
try that and also soaking your reg food in the worm juice (the water that blackworms are stored in) that works well and gives them the smell they are looking for when they want to eat.
