i have a 5" wc male frontosa ive had him for a few months now. A few days ago i moved my tank to a diff place in my house and added a new plant thats for a reptile tank that suckn cups to the back of the tank. The first day he ate but for the past 2 days he hasnt any ideas? He swims around like hes happy just isnt eating

I have a frontosa that hasnt ate in 4-5 days im thinking its bloat or something. Hes pooping lil thin clearish white poop is there any way to heal bloat i dont got any meds for fish
Please help

My GT had long, thin, stringy, clear poo for a couple of weeks and didn't eat. I treated him for internal parasites as thin, clear poo was a symptom of that. I used metronidazole to treat my tank over 10 days. It's actually best to feed a medicated food containing metronidazole however my GT wasn't eating so I had to treat the water instead.

I'm not saying that's what your fish has but it may be worth looking into. Good luck.

Try some epsom salt before spending a bunch of money on medicine unless ur front's too close to death. Then skip the salt and hit the metro

we had some sick fish and medicated with clout cures a wide varity of things icluding bloat and its cheap and fast.

about 2 weeks ago i moved my fish tank to a diff place in my house and bought a ficus silk jungle plant for reptile tanks and put in my tank. A few days later my wc front got sick hes in a hosp tank atm but in my main tank some of my fish arnt eating.

Take the plant out. I'm guessing it's fake. Did you rinse it off really good before you added it? Also do a water change to dilute the toxins it added to your water.

my wife has 3 of those plants in her tank and no problems make sure you do a wc.
