How can I prevent mold in my terrarium?

I have a newt setup with some sheet moss, some ribbon plants and some bamboo. the tank is about 50/50 wet/land but I noticed today that the tank is getting some mold. any tips for reducing or eliminating mold in a setup that is like this? thanks in advance!

More ventilation. How much of the top is solid (as opposed to vented/screened)? Obviously you don't want to dry it out too much, just increase your ventilation a bit as needed.

A good trick is to put sow bugs wich eat molt but could also present a hazard to your animals. Increase ventilacion and replace the molty material wich is either dead or not enough seazoned

would i fair better with spaghnum than "sheet" moss?
