My local fish store has a tank of assorted cichlids and some of them are flower horns, how can I tell which are which? I know they can pick them out for me but I couldn't tell any real differences between them, the firemouths and others in there. How much do they usually cost? Thanks so much.

Lol, thats a lot your asking for there. Personally id read up on them and do a search here for "red dragon progression thread" , or any flowerhorn . Theres a ton of info/exp in this community and it comes with pictures.

FHs are the more chunky ones with black flowerlines and one big flower spot on the sides of the head
