He is in a 430ish and I'm guessing he is about 11"-13".

I've heard they're quite difficult when it comes to feeding. What are you feeding yours?

My LFS has a small one that I'm debating on buying.
 
Thanks for the comments guys.

He eats alot of different things. Hikari floating sticks, tetra color bits, blood worms, these are his favorite. They are hard to get eating initialy, but as soon as he hit like 10" everything was game. He just grabs his food and grinds it till it goes down.

have you raised it yourself? did you filter feed it?
 
I got him at about 5-6 inches. Started him with crushed color bits, and added live black worms as we went. I would feed my Silver aro the Hikari floaters, and one day the african just started hitting them.
