How can you tell the difference between a Midas, Red Devil or Midevil?

I'm looking into purchasing a few fish, hopefully to show But how can I tell the difference between a Red Devil, a Midas, and a Midevil? (other than the seller's word, of course). Could some of you who are breeders please give me a few pointers to look at in anatomy to try to make sure I'm not getting a hybrid?? Thanks!!!

I honestly have no idea, but I saw midevil and my mind took off. I just imagine a little fish wearing armor and a sword under his fin, while sitting atop some kind of underwater swimming horse. lol

I think a midas is generally chunkier with a taller body and a U shaped mouth. While a red devil has a longer slimmer body with a V shaped mouth and sometimes a more prounounced lip. I'm guessing a midevil might have characteristics of both.

That should answer your question. Basically, if you don't buy it from a reputable dealer, it's likely a hybrid.
