There is no really true way to tell what sex a Jar is as most will tell you on here. Some will say that you can tell by the jaw but I think the only true way is to just have a group of them in a pond and let nature take it's course.

some people will say that the PLJ (protruding lower jaw) is a tell tell sign that its a male. (which i agree..but, have no evidence of, lol) ...and some people will say that this is not true...(that you cant tell)
