How Can You Tell...

The one in the picture looks like it has some marbling. They are really nice looking though.

i'd say both are marbles but you gotta remember that motoros differ a lot in looks (sub species or at least localities) and also i think the marbling becomes more prominant as it gets older

the ones one that page look to be for the most part just nice motoros. THere is one on there I would call a marble.

Marbled motoros are usually considered so when they have a lot of markings between spots. Markings could be swirls, dots, lines, etc. If it doesnt have something like that most likely its just a normal or chain link motoro. Just my thoughts

You need to keep in mind that their patterns change with time. Young rays don't show their full potential. You are also seeing fish that have been stressed due to shipping and handling.

Get that ray in your tank at home and it will be amazing inside of one year.

Here are the marbles we carry. We have a few like this with light disc and lines throughout the disc. Most motoros that come out of Columbia will turn out nice.
We also have some with a darker disc. The outer edge of the disc should have at least 2 rows of spots all the way around, even at a smaller size, of coarse this can and will vary from ray to ray.
Hope this helps, Tfd.
