How come its usually male flowerhoern X female parrot?

Ive yet to see a pairing of fh and parrot where the fh was a female. Is there a reason for this?

A fertile male BP is very rare while the fertile female BP are not.

Also agree... I have a pair male & female.. She is constantly laying eggs but they never develope due to dad's incapability.
