How come no one uses the chat any more???

How come i never see anyone in the chat room? i am always on here, at different times, and different lengths of time and i check every visit....and no one is on...what gives?

I'm on it now......... .....Chat is for dating IMPO (or kids fighting) That is of no use here. I can research, post, post pics, help,ask for help, all without chat......
