How common or rare is it to see an unstable ST?

I've heard a few people say that STs are almost always stable. I don't think I've ever seen a picture of an unstable ST either. So how often do you see an unstable ST?

Probably about as often as we see split bar or full necklace pulcers lol.My big pulcher can be considered unstable by some as it is usually dark in color but it is never to the point that indos get to....I'ts bars and pattern are always visible but it rarely gets the bright,creamy coloration that my smaller one always displays.

this is a myth, st do go unstable like the others, they just have a tendency to be more stable than the others

have seen smaller ones that are a wee bit unstable, or I'm probably spending too much time in front of the tank.
