I purchased 8 pb, at just under 2 in, from my lfs about 4 months ago. Some how this one bass slipped by me and I did not have the heart to take him back. He is now just over 4 in. Any takes on how this happened or was it just bad breeding?

Is this the one you're giving away for free?

Looks like a dymorphia, probably damage when very small or could be genetic.

Hulon you need to jump on this one so you can have a matching pair. Come on it needs a good home.

I'm leaning more towards genetic due to the fact that others in the group had tail issues as well. Anyone have experience with problems like this? Will there be any long term side effets?

Hate realizing something is deformed after you've had it for such a long time.

I knew he was messed up but after growing him out a bit I just fell in love with his personality. Now I simply need more room.

honestly i kno a couple people that have fish like this..its genetic..its damage that will last 4ever..
