how do bichirs and rays get along

im thinking about gettin an ornate and wondering how he will get along with my two motoros? they will be about the same size. since they are both on the bottom alot im not sure if they will get along. any info greatly appreciated

I know people who keep bichirs and rays together with no problems and also people who tried and either the rays were attacked or the rays went after the bichrs.
Its really a trial and error situation all you can do is watch for agression and be prepared to seperate them.-Anne

My bichir almost eat my ray today I have to change the ray to another tank!!! 25 victims for the moment

out of all the stories ive heard its doeant turn out a good combo more than 8% of the time

but try it you never know

what was the size diff? why all the victims? is he a very aggressive species or something?

wow 8% that sucks. im gonna try but that would stink if i had to come up with another tank for one or the other.

Sorry the bichir don't hurt my ray...he kill her, the bichir is 20cms the ray use to have the same size, she was attacked by 2 bichirs at the same time(the other was pretty small,but still a killer) I recomend you to avoid putting together rays and bichirs
