Hi. I recently got a breeding pair of Kribensis Cichlids. Is there any advice or tips and tricks for breeding them? Tank size, ph, kh, gh, tankmates, etc.?

No tankmates. Planted tank with something to lay eggs on, piece of slate, rock, driftwood etc. lower pH the better but don’t chase pH, they will reproduce in any water. I was breeding in 7.5 water. Tank size 10 gallons for a pair is fine. I bred them as well as German blues in a 5 gallon for a long time. For kribs I always put 3:1 females to male if I had the room (20 gallon). When a pair establishes remove the others to reduce aggression. If they stop reproducing for a bit, reintroduce one of the other females. Like most cichlids, don’t expect first few batches to produce fry. Pic showing some infertile eggs from a spawn I had.
