I have my 4 red belly piranhas all set up. And have been well established for a few months. But how do I get them to breed? My water is good and I'm making frequent changes. What sets them off to start breeding?

Bout 80degrees, daily water changes, lot of plants, mine don't care but some privacy won't hurt, change tank around. Tons of things to trigger em. If these don't work raise temp 2 degrees say 82 put fish in buckets for half hour, change tank around again, n more daily water changes, maybe cover part of the front tank. They'll turn black before they start. If nothing in week or so raise temp another degree n start over again. Bogwood will help too as will lowering tank temp a couple degrees with the new water from the daily water changes. How much water you change daily depends on how big your tank is.a lot of factors here! How old your fish are, size of tank, location of tank, lights or lack of, ect ect. Did you get your fish all at same time same place? You don't wanna breed siblings. GL
