This is my first time tending to tadpoles, which I believe are bullfrog tadpoles. Right now, they are in my 15 gal with other fish and will be moved to a new tank when older. Does anybody have any advice on how to care for them once they have both pairs of legs in and are ready to breathe air?

Provide a slope of land and vegetation they can cling to as their gills deteriorate. They'll pop their legs out, then you can move them into a pond. They should still eat the same things you've been feeding them as they grow but as they get bigger go for a little more protein in the diet. As long as water quality stay good it's not a challenge for the most part to see them through their change. The cute thing is how tiny they are after they absorb their tails. They won't need to eat for a little while after they become land-dwelling. Once the tail is gone, they'll seek prey.

thank you for replying.

I currently have a 2 gal square tank with 1.5 gal of water and a mountain of rocks in one corner that rises half of the way between the water and the top of the tank...is this enough for three tadpoles that are each approximately 1 inch long?
