How do I get a 'Black Water' look for my tank?

I'd like to get a "Black Water" look in my 20 gal com tank. What's the easiest way to achieve this?

Driftwood. It will leach tannins into the water column naturally. Don't boil the driftwood, just rinse in hot water and straight into the tank.
