my apt has no direct sun light and i keep my lights on my tank from 8am 2 10pm is their anthing i can do 2 get it 2 grow

for the look and for smalll plecos its for my ten grow out tank and snails for my clown loches

Two things: Check your lighting spectrum. May not be generating the right conditions for your algae. Also, algae feeds on excess nutrients so slacking a LITTLE bit on your water changes can help too. If your plecos are in there now they may be eating anything that grows before you see it.

Ali gave you great info! if i were you id switch spectrums, and they also make lights that are for plants and make algae grow-i would look into those.

thank you i will try the grow lights i cant slack on water changes i just cant bring my self to do it

You got any small drift wood the plecos will suck on that and maybe keep them off of other things so the algea has time to grow also

put some extra plant fertilizer in your tanks. There's the extra nutrients for your algae.

or, start your own culture in another tank, or even a gallon jar. Just put it in the sun outside, and you'll have green water real quick.
