How do i get my amozon sword to grow!

I have a 29gal tank and i have an amozon sword plant. It is slowly dieing! My lighting is 15watts, i know it is low but when i was buying the tank i never new i needed a certian wattage to grow plants. I have had the tank for a year and a half. It is my african and south american cichlid tank.

Is there anything i can do with out upgrading my lighting?

Root tabs are the best thing for you to do. Do you have a HOB filter or some form of close system filtration? Stopping surface agitation will be a big step.

root tabs. i really think getting more light will help more then anything. if your not adding co2 it really doesnt matter if there is surface agitation or not.

root tabs because swords are root feeders.. and no surface agitation will hold whatever co2 is in the tank better, and lighting ir good too but amazons can be low light plants

co2 levels in a tank with out adding co2 are very very low. it really doesnt matter if there is surface agitation or not.
