I just got my GT this past sunday. It is eating well but always hides under my driftwood. I originally had two of them but gave one to my neighbor since the one that I have now was dominating and beating the other GT up. Now it just seems timid and does not want to come out especially when the light is on. Does this mean that the fish is stressed or it just needs time geting used to its new home? Please let me know what you guys think. Thank you very much

Just give the little fella time to get comfy in his new home or it could be he isn't used to seeing you, and when you do show up he hides. Just A Thaught;)

Your fish is still acclimating.
If in a few months he is still hiding, try getting him some dither fish to bring him out of hiding.
the reason he was dominating the other fish prior to getting rid of him is because aquarium fish are forced to set up a rank structure when in the confines of a glass cage.
Be patient. And try spotlighting.

if youre desperate remove what he's hiding behind...and really freak him out:headbang2 :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA: :WHOA:

Im sure he'll be fine in time but you might want to buy some dither fish to bring him out. Just something cheap will work like Zebra Danios.
