How can i make them run at the same time? At one moment, one will be on while the other is off, then they switch off.

Well what you are describing is actually totally normal.....If you have two heaters set up at opposite sides of the tank the temps can actually vary from one side to the other....it may only be by .5 of a degree but a good heater will sense that difference. Its all about good water circulation which helps any size tank, especially large tanks, maintain a balanced temp.

Use them with a temperature controller.

Well im trying to heat my 135 gallon tank so i have to use two 300 watt heaters in order to do it. Both of them have to be going at the same time for their to be enough power to heat my tank. What is a temperature controller?

They don't have to both be on at the same time. If one is on its only because the water is cooler or below your set temp near that heater and at an acceptable temp by the other heater that is off. You don't want them coming on at the same time because then you may have areas where the water is "warmer" than the set temp. A temp controller only gets the temp from one area in the tank. With good circulation, I would not worry at all in any situation.

it will also help to place the heater perpendicular to the filter intake. that way the heated water is sucked in to the filter and circulated better with the outgoing water. my tanks have a more stable temperature this way...again, i agree, it's about water circulation to the dead spots, but normal for the heaters to heat unsynchronized.

What you need to do is two things...
1. Move South of the Artic Circle.
and
2. Bring the tank in the house.

:D Sorry for being a smart ass; its a slow day.

Btw, my 250g doesn't have a heater. Just food for thought.

i have mine set up one heater at inlet and one heart at outlet warm water sucked into filter and then pushed out thru passed the other heaterseems to keep it almost eacly right on the money ....plus if u keep the heaters on a 45 degree angle the warmer water will not rise up and shut u down since the thermostat is at the top of the heater

Holy Crap!

I use one 250W heater to keep my 125 gal tank dead at 80*F even on cold nights when the house gets down to 65*F...

600W of heater in a 135 gal tank is just asking for trouble...
