That is really confusing, proof read it, rewrite it a little more easy to follow, and maybe a couple pics. I bet the help will flow in. It is just hard to understand what you need.

i stopped reading on "i need to tank the bottom of my tank" :(

The lazy way to good grammar and spelling is to write in a Word Doc and then copy it here after it points out the errors. It also gives you a choice of corrections.

Never use a torch on glass. When the glass reaches 510 degrees C, it permantly will have internal stresses introduced. The strength will be seriously compromised and will break easily. Sometimes the glass will break simply by cooling it. The only way to remove the internal stresses is to anneal the glass (before it cracks) - unfortunately this requires a furnace.

To take the tank apart, you first need to remove the silicone seal. It is not an easy job but that is the only way. There is way too much silicone to cut through without removing it. When it is taken care of, then cut the silicone between the panes of glass.
