How about having one of those exhaust fans installed,the ones that sits on the roof and draws out the hot air.
It's my parents house and it's temp till I can move out. Also, I think we already have one of those on the roof.
Not good enough lol it doesn't even spin when the wind blows house is very old and garage. I have to come up with another way
Yeah that's the one I was referring to,it kind of looks like a chess piece and the top part of it spins around.I suspect anything else would pull some serious juice.
I've wondered about those,considered having one installed on my roof as I also live in an old house and the third floor gets really hot in the summer.....anyhow,sorry I can't offer any other suggestions.
Those things don't really do much. My sister had one with an actual motorized fan in the roof, and that thing worked awesome. Sucked out all the stale stagnant heat out in seconds. I'm not sure if that is an option here though.
In the meantime, I'd keep the heater off and the lights also, I guess LEDs wouldn't put out much heat, but others will.
