The guy at the pet store told me that my two ocsars are a pair. Does this mean they are a male and femal who will breed or no? Are there any indicators in fish behavior that will let me know if they are or aren't, or any indicators of how aggressive they will be when they are adults?

You never know with the lfs employee.. Or with anyone for that matter unless they have actually bred the pair..

but yes.. the calling of a pair is usually insinuating that there is a male and female.. Though Also a pair is like a tolerant two,.. Or bonded ...

Breeding behavior will usually start with some violence... Then some digging.. then some laying ;)

how big are they?

Are they in a tank by themselves? You should see a definite increase in aggression if they are starting to pair up. If there are tankmates, then you should see them definitely start sticking together and showing aggresion to the other tankmates.

They are all by themselves, except for a corey cat. I feel like they are too young to breed but i dont know much about their breeding habits
