Ok i am getting a 75 gallon tank, i heard there is a way u can set up the tank so when the fish poo the power head or something will flow the poo off the bottom of the tank into the filter????? is that right??? i want to set it up so i don't always have to net out the fish poo, i do weekly water changes, but still i don't want a bunch of poo floating around the bottom of the tank ........ so how do u set that up?? Also i am getting a new filter and everything so if u guys can give me some input on what brands or what filter to look into that would be great, thx guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Set the tank up and observe where the poo collects. Add a powerhead to that area to "keep it moving". As long as the crap stays suspended, it will eventually be picked up by the filter.

You could use a RUGF. Some people use them, but I don't like them. They seem to create more problems than they solve. I wouldn't recomend it, but it is an option.

just buy a gravel vac.

what kinda filter you looking for, HOB, canister, sump?

If you an HOB, it may be difficult to collect the poo as the current from the outflow will push it away. However a strategicaly placed powerhead should knock it into the input.

A sump will be almost impossible to get the poo to fall through it, so a canister will be the best option to collect suspened poo.

thx guys for your input, i do plan on using a canister filter, i should of stated that in my post, well i guess ill try to use the powerhead to push the suspended waste into the inflow of the filter.......
