Hello i have 100 dollars I don't know if that will be enough for a inexpensive saltwater tank. i already have a 55 gallon and a filter and heater and thermometer. What else do i need and how much will it cost?

What sort of filter do you have?
Salt 160g IO bucket < $40
Hydrometer < $10
Aragonite - (about) $1 a # - (so for a tank your size) $60
Dry Base Rock - http://compare.ebay.com/like/360296...eeff607&itemid=360296816274&ff4=263602_304662 - $9 for 5#...so I would probably spend at least $45 on that
Spiking this with LR would give the rock some nice growth/color over time. But we are already over your $100 limit.
Lastly some florescent lights would be good for getting some algae and other growth on the dead rock.
