I have some young Peacock bass ( 2 @ 3.5"-4") and they love feeders. but i would really love to get them eating pellets. is there a good technique for this?

I was using earthworms and cutting them up and sliding the pellets into then and dropping then in. The loved the worms so much that I didn't have to worry about them spitting them out. It was somewhat of a pain to do everyday but it work great cause after a week or two I started dropping pellets in and they would hit them just as hard as if they were worms. I just picked up some more bass and will be doing the same with them as well.

I assume you have tried to wait them out for a couple days?

+1. Starve them for a few days, don't worry it won't hurt them. Then when they are finally fed, they will chow down on literally anything that you put in the tank with them.

i want to train my arowana and other fishes to eatting pellets too but how do i teach them all at once?
