How do I ween Africans to eat live food

Or do they not eat live food? If they do what is the best way to introduce this to them when they are young.

I want them to eat shrimp and water insects etc.

No need to feed africans live food they will do just fine on staple foods .

what type of live? If it is protein rich it will cause bloat and kill them.

africans are herbivores, if you are talking about mbunas, so they dont eat live

Then in my opinion your asking for trouble.. africans cannot eat too much protein in their diet or they get bloat , and of course diseases from the other fish they eat... why would anyone want to feed live?????

If you want to feed a treat try some lettuce or cucumber(blanched first). Mine LOVE their veggies
