ive had my brisltenose cat for about 2 years and hes only 2 and 1/2 inches big? ive heard they get to 10" off another thread i come across. what should i feed him to get that big?
lol umm hes in a a 35 gallon tank, i feed him flake because hes always got algae to eat. i fed him a bit of cute cumber or zicini the other day. only tetras and things like that. hes a vid of the tank. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6W1CgBhZek.
You would be very hard pressed to find a 10" Bristlenose Pleco. 6" is a much more reasonable goal. While these species adore algae and are hard workers in the anti-algae war going on in your tank, they will very much like additinal items in their diet.
Algae wafers, sinking carnivore pellets, frozen cubes (push them into the gravel near their cave entrance) of Brine, bloodworms, etc. Twice weekly a slice of Zuchinni tide down to a rock or wood with an elastic.
