How do ya stabilize 10" indo Dat

I recently bought a 10" into dat locally didn't know enough about them before purchase
this guy stays black most of the time....I've noticed him getting yellow few times for short period of time, though not completely
won't eat anything except live minnows

any ideas on how to stabilize him ? He's in 360 gal tank
