How Do You All Keep Angels With Your Bichirs?

I know I've posted on this before, but both of my Angels are now even chasing my Bichirs into their flowepots and also stealing their food out of their mouths!!

So just curious how you all make it work. As the little boogers are shredding my poor Bichir's fins and causing them to bleed!! (And here I was worrying the Bichirs might harm the Angels!)

All fish are well fed in a big 55 G tank with many hiding spots.

I hate to do(it bums me out to have to downsize a fish's tank after it's had a taste of living in a big tank) it but will be moving the angels into their own 15G tank today.

Have three angels, one senegal and one BGK peacefully coexisting. Must be the water, or my charming personality.

What kind of bichirs and how big are they? I can't see an angelfish bothering an 18"+ eldli/congicus/ornate...

You must have small bichirs. If I put angels in my tank and they tried to chase my bichirs around and steal food from them they would most likely get eaten! Lol!

The bichirs are over 5'' on their way to 6''. The angels are med size. So it doesn't make alot of sense. They just love to sneak up and goose them on the tail or give chase if one swims by. This seems to be an aggressive batch I got from the LFS. The three are now living in their own 15g now anyhow.
