I have no idea how i'm going to attach my filter socks to my pvc ... theres no top to my sump (yet) and I don't want to put the filter socks in verticle pvc because then i wont know when its dirty. thoughts?

They have loops u can hook, or I used some aluminum rod n 6" PVC straight pieces n they fit perfect. In my build I have some pics how I did it

Here are a bunch of pictures of my setups (and some commercially made holders). I used to hang them from the handles, but after a while the plastic handles started breaking off. Now I support them from the whole rim - a six-inch PVC coupling fits a 7" sock perfectly, for the 4" socks I had to custom build a holder from sheet ABS.

Thats fantastic but wont support the pressure from my overflow. but thats exactly what i was looking for.

Can you describe or take pictures of your setup? I'm a little lost as to your comment of it won't support the pressure from my overflow.

Thanks.

It is recommended that you use a diaphragm pump when pressurizing. Approx. 4 bags can be fit onto a single filter head for multiple micron size filtering. Recommended no more than 40 psi or more than 15 gpm.

the product in the link you sent recommends no more than 15 gpm I'm doing double that 30 gpm /1800 gph .....

The stuff dan f sent is awesome ...
