How do you calm a docile fish?

Is it even possible to calm a docile FH to live with another one? lol. So today i did a little experimenting and lift the gates (divider) up to see what happens. Bad idea, my other docile fh was coming full speed at my new Golden Monkey like he stole his pellets. This is probalby the most aggressive fish ive dealt with.

uhh docile means calm, i think your looking for the word hostile.

Do you mean that they are docile when apart but hostile when together?

you move its surroundings around, make the old territories into new territories if that doesnt work you need to seperate them.

that makes a little more sense.Still some fish are just not going to get along,esp 2 big fish that are the only fish in the tank.How big is the tank?
