Where the Simpsons takes place
I wanted to make this thread because I know a lot of different styles of cleaning fish tanks. This thread is something fun to talk about. I personally use the old fashion style, a bucket and syphon. Like here below...

I know people who use the syphons that screw onto sinks. Like here below...

I also know people who clean using bucket by bucket, lol. It must be a pain in the :swear:.
I just want to know how YOU guys/girls clean YOUR aquariums. :)

By the way, trolls are not aloud. Or I will... :nutkick: lol

Old-Fashioned bucket/siphon way is the way to go!

When you guys fill it up directly from the tap, at what point do you add the de-chlorinator? And do you add it directly to the main tank?
I was under the impression that you have to fill the new water to a bucket, add the de-chlor and then put it to the tank. (At least that is what I do now)

this is what i wonder too.. haha i always siphon the gravels/water into the bucket..when i re-add new water..i have it in a bucket first and add de-chlor(stress coat)

I siphon out the window using a reguler gravel cleaner then i put 3 caps of prime in my 180 , then i just fill the tank up with the hose from outside and add 2 more caps of prime
