How do you dose your metro?

I bought 100% metro today for my discus cause i think they have int parasites. Now i am alittle confused on the instructions. Do you add it to the water or just their food? Or can you do both?

Some people add metro to food, but it's not wise to do so IMO. There is a high risk of overdose this way, and overdose can damage internal organs. I use 100% metro directly to water. I do a 50 to 75% water change, use 1/4 teaspoon of metro per 40 gals. stirred up into a glass of hot water,and pour directly into the tank. This is repeated every day for one week. Metro tends to break down after 24 hours, and under lighting, so I turn the lights out and treat every day.
