I don't know if something is wrong with my mag 350 or what, but it seems that my fluval 304 (260 gph) pumps more than my magnum 350.

How is the magnum 350 working for you guys?

I had one that lasted about a year before it broke. Trying to pry that lid off became old really fast. Wasn't exactly user friendly. It also lost its thunder after about 6 months. Never would buy one again.

i have had one for 2 years and i like it im not saying its the best but it works fine for me the main thing is use the disconect valves and it makes it easier to clean once you open them it breaks the seal and top comes right off

Oh yeah, I have that also
and it works fine.

but I really don't like how much it's pushing.
I think it might be because my lines running to my tank is to long and cuttin my flow back a whole lot.

i just overcame a bleed issue i had by modding a bleed valve into it. so far so good.

so far, i wouldnt buy again. but it cleans this 55 gallon just fine.

also, the media holder is pretty ****ty. i fixed the lid popping off issue with a couple of rubber bands.

Honestly, I hate this filter....

I really don't recommend this canister.

I've used the magnum 350 on my last two tanks. A 75 gallon, and now I have two on my 150 with a FX5. These are some pretty decent filters, not the best, but they do get the job done. They are lacking in the area of holding alot of bio media, BUT, as a compliment to another filter, they are not that bad. I like running multiple filters, as you can rotate their maintenance schedule and not have to open them up every month to clean them. I let mine run about two months to three months before they need cleaning. Also, if you are needing to polish your water for that CRYSTAL clear look, they do a nice job on that. If you are on a budget, and want to run multiple filters, IMO this is not a bad filter at all. With the quick disconnect valves, it makes it alot easier during maintenance.

My stock levels on my 150 are two Oscars 12" +, a common pleco, 8" GT, and soon as my Festae get big enough, they will go in also.
