I got my 55 gallon down the stairs.... but... it... was.. HARD! In anyone's opinion, what do you think is the easiest way to get it down there??

Well empty, no problem. I did it alone with my dad and i had a unclassified type of swine flu at the time, and we did it effortlessly in about 2 minutes. If the tank is full of anything, yes it will be hard and heavy. Forget about it if it is full.
two people can do it, but i'm thinking you want to do it alone. you can't safely do it alone. if you try to slide it down a set of carpeted stairs, you might manage to do it, but you have to be careful of damaging it. we don't want to create uneven stress on the joints and have a leak later.
One problem... I am a chick and the only allies I could get are my grandmother(but I wouldn't make her help lol) and one or two of my girlfriends.. I did the 55 alone and that was a struggle.. it was in a protective box. This isn't in a box at all. I have carpeted stairs so I could try to slide it down... but I'm a little nervous lol.
