How do you get rays on to dead food?

Hi,
How do i get my wild caught hystrix ray off live worms and snails and onto prawns/shrimp beefheart blood worm etc???
As she is eatting me out of house and home keep buying all these worms, thanks.

what i have done is pumped up the ray until its fat and then use the starvation method

Ive also done the same as Dixons. I also marinade the dead food using the juice of the food it currently eating. Works good.. sometimes it takes several tries to get results.

yeah i forgot abut the marinade trick thats a good tip its worked for me.

Thats what I am currently doing to get my retic off of blackworms. I chop and crush them up and marinate them in some smelt and she slowly but surely is starting to accept it. Mine is still small so I am not going to try the starving technique till she gets a little bigger and that is only if I have to. Best of luck with it though.
