How do you get the gallons in your tank

sorry i no this question has been asked hundreds of times but what is the formula for solving the gallonage of your tank is it:

length" x height" x width" x .0433, is that what it is or please correct me if im wrong.

one square foot is 7.5 gallons.

its in inches length x width x height then divide by 231.

That's close-either X .00433 or divided by 231 at the end

My cell phone has a converter... so I determine the cubic inches/feet/cm/etc... then it converts it into gallons...
